Alan "Todd" Peters, 49, of Diamond, Illinois, was born on April 25, 1970. He was called home to Heaven unexpectedly on December 14, 2019, at Morris Hospital in Morris, Illinois. Todd was born in Corinth, Mississippi, where he spent most of his childhood before moving to Wilmington, Illinois. Throughout his life he also lived in Minnesota and Kentucky. Todd enjoyed playing baseball, fishing, hunting pheasants and hanging out with his Mee-Maw as a child. After becoming a father, there was nothing be enjoyed more than spending time with his children Morgan, Austin, Thomas, and Britnee, often traveling back and forth from Illinois to Mississippi to see them. Todd is the son of the late Peggy Ann and Bobby Wayne Peters of Corinth, MS. Todd is survived by daughters Morgan Peters of Diamond, IL, son Austin Peters of Diamond, IL, son Thomas Peters of Red Banks, MS, daughter Britnee Peters of Red Banks, MS, and son Cody Nelson of Gardner, IL. Todd is preceded in death by Father Bobby Wayne Peters and Mother Peggy Ann Peters. Services will be on Monday, January 6, 2020 at Ignite Christian Church located at 1180 W First Street Braidwood, Illinois. There will be no services at the funeral home.
