Alan Daniel Quinlan, age 59, of New Lenox passed away unexpectedly on Friday, January 6, 2023, at his home surrounded by his family. Survived by his wife of 35 years, Valerie (nee Wynn) Quinlan, his children Mike (Mari) Pape, April (Nick) Goodwin, and Nick (Kim) Quinlan, his grandchildren Ethan Pape, Layla Pape, Connor Goodwin, Kinsley Goodwin, Collin Goodwin, Bryson Quinlan and Paisley Quinlan, his siblings Lenny (Pam) Quinlan, Johnny (late Theresa) Quinlan and Guy (Lisa) Quinlan, numerous nieces, nephews, and friends, and his faithful canine companions "Dixie" and "Louie". Preceded in death by his parents John and Katherine Quinlan. Alan was an auto body specialist for many years, he most enjoyed working for Car Care. Alan was a simple man who enjoyed Nascar, vegetable gardening, flannel shirts, old country music and classic rock, traveling to Gatlinburg with Valerie, attending any and all of his grandkid's events, and ALL THINGS TRUMP to name a few. Above all, Alan loved his family, spending time with them is what brought him most joy. Visitation for Alan will be on Thursday, January 12, 2023, from 3-7:00 P.M. at Forsythe Gould Funeral Home.
