Alex W. Martineck, age 93, of New Lenox, passed away peacefully with family at his side on April 4, 2016. Beloved husband of the late Lottie (nee Dudzik), loving father of Alan (Carol) and the late Charlene (Herb) Zernecke. Loved grandfather of Alan Jr. (Melinda), James (Deena), Alexandra (Paul) Rozga, Stacy (Michael) Pollak. Adored great-grandfather (Dziadzi) to A.J., Lanie, Nickolas, Melissa, and Amanda Martineck, Sophia and Brett Rozga and Olivia, Wendalynn, Maximilian, and Emma Pollak. Brother of Florence Chalmers. Uncle of many nieces and nephews. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, April 16, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 235 W. North St. Manhattan, IL.
