Alex J. Roberts, age 89, of Orland Park passed away on January 10, 2021. Beloved husband for 66 years of Lenore (nee Jaworski); loving Father of Michael, Leslie (Andrew) McDonough, the late Cynthia and Richard; cherished Grandfather of Ria Roberts, Max Roberts, Ruby Roberts, John (Lauren) McDonough, Moira (Nolan) Anderson, Patrick McDonough, Meghan McDonough; Great Grandfather of Reagan, Maeve, Evelyn, Catherine, and Daniel. Proud graduate of St. Rita High School and DePaul University, a terrific guy and avid fisherman, past president of Marist Hight School Fathers club. Alex was also a proud veteran of the U.S. Army serving his country during the Korean Conflict. Private services will take place at Forsythe Gould Funeral Home, Manhattan, IL. Interment with military honors will take place at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood, IL.
