Alice L. Anderson, 93, of Morris, passed away early Tuesday morning, October 27, 2015 at Park Pointe Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in Morris. Funeral services will be held Friday, October 30, 2015 at 11:00 am at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Morris with Pastor Patrick Lohse officiating. Interment will follow in Saratoga Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday from 10:00 am until time of service at the church. Born October 19, 1922 in Ford City, PA., she was the daughter of Sig and Fairy (Santchi) Roberts. She graduated from Ottawa Township High School with the class of 1940. Alice married Gordon Anderson on January 15, 1947 in Ottawa. They lived most of their married life in Erienna Township and later moved to Morris in 2007. For several years she was employed at Kline's Department Store in Ottawa and later at Hornsby's In Morris. She is survived by her children, Daniel (Carol) Anderson of Manhattan, Gail Fleming of Tipton, IA, Karen (Joseph) Cheshareck of Morris, Mavis (Dennis) O'Morrow of Fort Atkinson, WI and Kenneth (Patricia) Anderson of Garner, NC; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death were her parents; her loving husband on August 03, 2007; two grandchildren in infancy; one sister, Jeannette Helland; two brothers, Leonard and Dan Roberts. She was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Morris and the Grundy Extension. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, was an avid gardener and enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren.Memorials may be given to Bethlehem Lutheran Church. Fruland Funeral Home, 121 W.
