Obituary

Anna Mae Morris, age 93, late of Manhattan, died Sunday, February 28, 2021. She is survived by daughter Diane Morris, son Jerry (Margie) Morris, granddaughter Allison (Richard) Boomgarden, grandson Daniel Morris and one sister, Marian Bengtson. She was preceded in death by her parents William and Florence Weber Jungles, her husband Milton Morris, infant daughter Donna Rae and brothers, William and Ralph Jungles. Anna Mae and Milton worked alongside each other on their dairy and grain farm during their 51-year marriage. She also drove the school bus for Laraway School for 34 years, after which she worked for Dan's Candies for 17 years. Anna Mae was an active member of Farm Bureau Prime Timers. She was a long-time parishioner at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Manhattan where she was a past CCW woman of the year. Faith and family were very important to her. Anna Mae enjoyed caring for her grandchildren and great nieces Zoey and Farrah. Visitation for Anna Mae Morris will be 10:00 am to 11:30 am on Saturday, March 6, 2021 at Forsythe Gould Funeral Home, Manhattan. Mass of Christian Burial to follow, 12 noon, at St. Joseph Church.
