AnnaMae Lohmar (nee Yedinak), age 87, passed away on March 2, 2022 in Effingham, IL. She is survived by her loving children Larry (Vicki) Lohmar, and Dave (Tracy) Lohmar, daughter-in-law Beth Lohmar, her grandchildren Anthony Lohmar, Christy Ann Vojtanek, Jacquelyn (Bobby) Purchase, Stacey (Cory Campbell) Lohmar, Matthew Lohmar, Haylie Lohmar and Martina Lohmar, great-grandchildren Zach (Caitlyn Brian) Vojtanek, Robby Purchase, Nevaeh Purchase, Camden Purchase, Kennedy Purchase, William and Samantha. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive. Preceded in death by her parents Andrew "John" and Barbara Yedinak, her husband Gordon, her son Garry Lohmar and five siblings. AnnaMae was a lifetime member of St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church, Joliet and was active with the CCW. She enjoyed bowling, watching the Chicago Cubs, crocheting, sewing, and baking to name a few. AnnaMae and her husband were also avid campers. They could often be found at Lincoln-Way Sams Club Campground. Visitation for AnnaMae will take place on Wednesday, March 9, 2022 from 10:00 A.M. -12:00 Noon at St. Mary Magdalene, 127 S. Briggs St., Joliet, IL 60433. Mass of Christian Burial will be the same day at 12:00 Noon with Fr. Chris Groh officiating. Interment will immediately follow at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood where AnnaMae will finally be reunited with her husband and love of her life, Gordon.
