Anthony "Tony" Raymond Becker, age 55, of Park Forest, passed way after a long battle with COPD on Monday, January 16, 2023, at University of Chicago Medical Center surrounded by his loving family. Survived by his devoted daughter Megan (Michael) Koszela, grandchildren Charlotte and Sawyer Koszela, his siblings Jay Becker, Frank (Bridget) Becker, Debi Parsons, Pat Jordan, Madonna Nunez, Jean Lincoln, Nan Ragsdale, Sandy Rivera, Maggie (Mike) Meadows, and Bridget (Al) Beagle and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Preceded in death by his parents Frank and Patricia (nee McDonald) Becker, and his brother Gerald Becker. Tony grew up in the Joliet area. He was a union commercial and residential painter with the Local #147. Tony had a strong work ethic, and he loved his job. He enjoyed cooking for his family and especially enjoyed spending time with his grandkids. Tony was a loving dad, papa, brother, uncle and friend and he will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Visitation for Anthony will be on Monday, January 23, 2023, from 2-6:00 p.m. at Forsythe Gould Funeral Home. Funeral service will take place the same evening at 6:00 p.m. Cremation will follow.
