She attended St. Bronislava Catholic Church and School, Chicago and graduated High School from St. Francis de Sales, Chicago. She married the love of her life Don on August 1, 1959.They celebrated their 50th Wedding Anniversary on August 1,2009 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Manhattan. She loved to go dancing with her husband Don and go on cruises, as well as going to Las Vegas with her parents, and later in life with her husband. She enjoyed a Southern Comfort Old Fashioned with extra bitters. She also loved going to Harrah's and on bus trips to various casinos. Going to Wisconsin Dells with her children became a family tradition that is now passed on, eventually finding everyone's favorite restaurant Ishnala in Delavan, Wisconsin. She enjoyed going to Long Grove with her daughters, sister and niece and Shipshewana, Indiana. Audrey loved and was proud of all of her children and grandchildren and she will be missed by all of them. Audrey worked at many jobs throughout her life: a CNA in the St. Margaret Hospital Emergency Room, a secretary with OSHA and Sears Roebuck, the manager of the Golden Bowl Restaurant in Dolton, and Ingalls Immediate Care Clinic in Tinley Park. She retired from Ingalls to watch her grandchildren Sam, Joey, Livi and Jessica—some of their earliest memories. Her grandchildren brought her such happiness and joy and her absence is already felt deeply amongst them. Patrick called her every day and you could hear her voice change and fill with happiness. She looked forward to and loved her visits with Precious and Mr. Peanut. A huge thank you to her longtime loving, kind and caring caregiver Sharon M; her most current loving and kind caregivers Cathy K. and Karen R. They provided not only care but companionship.
