Huck was active in all the loves of his life between his family, career, sports teams, and hobbies. He proudly served in the United States Air Force Security Service for 8 years between Italy, Alaska, and Scotland. He was the owner of Thermographic Testing for 11 years then owned Industrial Switchgear Specialist Inc., skilled in electrical testing and repair. Huck was an avid fan of the Chicago Blackhawks, Cubs, and Bears. He especially loved baseball and tried out for the Chicago White Sox at one point in time. He was instrumental in getting girls fast-pitch softball started in the '90s in New Lenox and coached younger instructional coed teams for baseball and slow pitch softball. Huck was also dedicated to Lenox Pop Warner football for many years from "midgets" up to "heavyweights" back in the day. He supported his daughter Jennifer over the years as she participated in softball, basketball, and volleyball in middle school and high school while he traveled and supported his beloved family. Avid poker player and fisherman; he loved his annual fishing trips to Land O' Lakes, Wisconsin with his family. He bowled frequently at Country Lane where he met and rekindled his friendship with his wife Judy, which led into their love and marriage. His family meant the world to him, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Huck and Judy attended every single event of theirs that they could get to. He was also a member of the New Lenox Lions Club and coached for his grandson Jake's baseball team with the Elwood Baseball/Softball Association. Cherished dad, brother, papa, great-papa, and friend to many who will be forever loved and missed.
