Betty A. Nordsell (nee Tessmer), age 76, of Mokena, passed away peacefully at her home with family at her side on Thursday, February 12, 2015. She is survived by her loving husband and best friend of 53 years, Charles Nordsell, her devoted daughter, Laura (Brian) Panicucci of Oglesby, IL, three grandchildren, Brittany, Kristen, and Nicholas Panicucci, two great grandchildren, Charlie and Camden, two sisters, two nieces, and one nephew. She is preceded in death by her parents, Leo and Helen Tessmer, and three sisters. Betty was a simple woman. She lived to take care of her family, being a wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother were among her greatest accomplishments. Funeral service for Betty will be 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, February 17, 2015 at Green Garden United Methodist Church, Green Garden, with Pastor Richard Young officiating.
