Age 80, of Elwood, IL passed away peacefully Friday, June 30, 2017 with her family by her side at her home. Born January 6, 1937 in Joliet, IL to the late Martin and Jane (nee Rodgers) Mudroch.
Beverly retired from Lockport Twp. High School after several years of employment. She was a founding member and sponsor of the Elwood Children's Garden and charter member of Heritage Quilters Guild in Lockport, IL. She also was a member of the Elwood-Manhattan Quilting Group and a longtime member of the Elwood Community Church.
Surviving are three children, Mark (Maureen) Rauman of Bolingbrook, IL, Melody Rauman of Crest Hill, IL, and Mindy (Brett) Danforth of Magnolia, TX; six grandchildren, Michael, Bradley, Justin, Jane, Chelsea, and Claudia; numerous nieces and nephews; brother-in-law, Eino (Becky) Rauman; and three sisters-in-law, Joan, Margaret, and Mary Ann Mudroch.
Preceding her in death were her husband of fifty-seven years, Robert Rauman (11-8-2013); three brothers, Jerry, John and Martin Mudroch; brothers-in-law, John, Toivo, and Richard Rauman; and sisters-in-law, Betty, Martha, and Helen.
The family would like to thank the staff of Compassionate Care Hospice and Absolute Home Health Care for the kind and attentive care that Beverly received.
Cremation rites have been accorded. Memorial visitation will be Saturday, July 8, 2017 from 10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. at the Elwood Community Church: 101 N. Chicago Ave., Elwood, with memorial services beginning at 12:00 p.m. Pastor Carrie Kapral will officiate. Inurnment will be held at a later date in Woodlawn Memorial Park in Joliet, IL.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in her name to the Elwood Community Church or Elwood Children's Garden Project would be appreciated.
