Beverly J. Vargocko (nee Winkler), age 93, passed away on Monday, January 10, 2022 at Sunny Hill Nursing Home with family by her side. She is survived by her children, Kimberlee Harris of Wisconsin, Kathleen (Joseph) Wilda of Manhattan, grandchildren, Joseph Harris, Cortney Bertrand, Cahryssa Coldwater, Joseph Wilda, Seth Wilda and brother, Warren (Betty) Winkler of Joliet. Beverly is preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Joseph, 2 infant sons, and her parents Wesly and Helene Winkler. Beverly was born in Joliet and graduated from Joliet Township High School in 1947. She worked as a bookkeeper for 18 years. Beverly was a Life Member of the Women's Auxiliary VFW Cantigny Post 367. A memorial visitation for Beverly will take place on Wednesday, January 12, 2022 from 6:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at the United Methodist Church in Manhattan. Memorial service will immediately follow at 7:00 P.M. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Beverly's name to Joliet Area Community Hospice, United Methodist Church of Manhattan and the VFW Cantigny Post 367 would be most appreciated.
