Carl J. Malone, age 91, of Manhattan, passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday, November 1, 2020. Carl is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Mary Jane (nee Kobeck) Malone, his children Lynette Bromann, Carl (Dana) Malone Jr. and Joseph (Donna) Malone, grandchildren Tina (Scot) Prihar, Kelly (Brent) LaRue, Daniel (Ashley) Malone, David Malone, Michael (Cindy) Malone, Steven (Melissa) Malone, great grandchildren Kailey Wager, Ryland Prihar, Kaitlyn Shepard, Nolan, Sophia and Logan LaRue, Cheyan and Michael Malone and Levi and Maebry Malone. Carl served his country for 10 years with the U.S. Navy during the Korean Conflict. He was a long-time active member of Stone City V.F.W. Carl was a truck driver in the Teamster's Union for over 30 years. After retiring Carl could be found woodworking, creating yard decorations. Private family services will be held. Interment with full military honors will be at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood.
