Carol Moenck, age 74, of Lansing, passed away at her home with family at her side. She is survived by her husband, Phil Moenck, her children, Raymond (Kathy) Dettmering, and E. Scott (Jamie) Dettmering, the father of her children Emil Dettmering, her grandchildren, Corrinne (Rick) Pelletier, Amy Dettmering, Dominique (Eric) Schmaedeke, Brian Dettmering, Nicholas Dettmering, and Christopher Dettmering, 9 great grandchildren, her brother-in-law, Richard Vaughn, her stepchildren, Steve Moenck, Kevin (Chris) Moenck, and Shirley Parnau, and four step grandchildren. She is preceded in death by one son, Russell Emil Dettmering, her parents, Louis and Laura Meyer, and her sister Loretta Vaughn. Visitation for Carol will be on Thursday, September 15, 2016 at Forsythe Gould Funeral Home from 3-7:00 P.M. Funeral Service will be Friday, September 16, 2016 at 2:00 P.M. at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 177 Luther Lane, Frankfort, IL 60423 with Pastor Hahn officiating.
