Charlene Thompson "Char" Age 74, of Manhattan, IL passed away Saturday, January 26, 2019 at Silver Cross Hospital in New Lenox, IL. Born September 21, 1944 in Chicago, IL to the late Fritz and Charlotte (nee O'Leary) Oest. Char formerly lived in Kentucky, but for the past sixteen years she lived with her sister Joanne and her husband Lester (deceased) in Manhattan. She previously belonged to Curves in Manhattan and enjoyed that time making new friendships. Surviving are her loving sister, Joanne Marti of Manhattan; nephew, Randy Marti of Oak Forest, IL; niece, Shari Marti of Monee, IL; and her beloved companion cat, Mary.
