Charles Michael Lambert Jr "Chuck" "Mike", age 72, of Joliet passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 1, 2022, at Lightways Hospice Home with loving family at his side. He is survived by the love of his life, Faith (nee Peterson) Lambert, his daughters, Hope Anne Lipke and Cortney Lambert, his grandchildren, Hailey Anne Lipke and Cameron Charles Lipke, his siblings, Gloria Selvy, David (Dawn) Lambert, his mother-in-law, Dianne Peterson, nieces, nephews, and his good friend, Theo Bellos. Preceded in death by his parents, Charles Sr. and Margaret Lambert, his brother-in-law, Earl Selvy and his father-in-law, Burton Peterson. Charles was a graduate of Providence Catholic High School and continued his education in I.T. He worked for many years and retired from Inland Detroit Diesel Allison. Chuck enjoyed listening to music of all kinds, especially live music and riding motorcycles. He was a handyman and was a jack of all trades, he especially liked working on cars and motorcycles. Chuck could most often be found spending hours in his "Man Cave" woodworking or tinkering on this and that. He had the most generous spirit and would help anyone who asked. Most of all, he was an adoring father, his girls came first, attending countless athletic events or extracurriculars and exercising his bragging rights every chance he could. Chuck will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Visitation for Charles will be on Saturday, December 17, 2022 from 12:00-4:00 P.M. at Forsythe Gould Funeral Home, Manhattan. An informal time of sharing will take place at 4:00 P.M.
