Charles James Tinman, age 67, late of Manhattan, died peacefully with his family around him on Thursday, April 3, 2014 at Bay Medical Center, St. Petersburg, FL. He is survived by his mother Virginia Marie Tinman, wife Marlys nee Lewis, two sons; Scott (Terri) of Findlay, Ohio and Jason (Trish) of Mokena, five grandsons; Drew, Zachary, Tyler and James Tinman and Joey Piersanti, one granddaughter Maggie Tinman, one brother James (Patricia) of Addison, one niece Susan (Tim) Lisowski of Elmhurst, three step-sons; Donald Schutt of MI., Dale Schutt of Joliet and Todd Patchin of Midlothian, one step-daughter Donna Lempara of Manhattan. Preceded in death by his father, Gene Howard Tinman.
Charles worked at Kraft Foods at 74th and Rockwell in Chicago for 37 years. He was an avid White sox and Blackhawk fan. He was a man of great wit who embraced life and all who were around him.
Funeral service for Charles James Tinman will be 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, April 9, 2014 at Forsythe Funeral Home, Manhattan. Visitation Tuesday, 3:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M.
