Babe was an incredible woman that was loved by all. She was a wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and an amazing cook.
She was born November 28th, 1952, in Chicago, Illinois. She spent most of her days living in Manhattan with her husband, David Smith, and seven children. She began her career as a bartender and then became the proud owner of Gallagher's Pub with her husband Dave.
While living in Manhattan, she made many lifelong friends. She was a generous and understanding person who would always be willing to help, whether it was needing a place to stay or a nice warm meal. She also supported several community organizations through her business. She was a four-foot-tall woman with a bit of a temper which is why she earned a sign that was placed above her chair at Gallagher's Pub, "Bitch Boulevard". With her pointing finger and sharp glare, only her family and friends could understand.
During her younger years, she loved to dance, and sing to Oldies but Goodies while wearing her black leggings and high heels. She loved and enjoyed thunderstorms, reading Stephan King novels, and completing puzzles while watching Sci-Fi movies.
As years passed, Babe spent a lot of her time with her husband and children at her river house enjoying the pontoon boat. She would sit under the sun with her oversized sunglasses while drinking her favorite beverage, Vodka and Diet Pepsi, loving the time with her family and friends.
Her memory will be cherished and kept alive by her adoring and loving children, grandchildren, and friends.
