Craig Alan Morrow, age 57, died August 3, 2018 at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois after a brief illness. He was born to Don S. Morrow and Sharon Morris Morrow on February 9, 1961 in Ft. Wayne, Indiana.
Craig graduated in 1979 from Castle High School in Newburgh, Indiana and from Western Kentucky University with a B.S. degree in Finance. He went on to earn his M.B.A. from the University of Southern Indiana, and worked in the mortgage and health insurance industries.
Craig was an enthusiastic world traveler and traveled all over the United States, Canada, Europe, Scandinavia and South America, last visiting the Straits of Magellan. He was often accompanied on his travels by his mother, Sharon and Aunt Beverly Lytle. He loved visiting Hard Rock Cafes all over the world and collected numerous souvenirs at each.
Craig was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Laurie in 2012 and by his father, Don in 2003. He is survived by his three stepchildren, Nicole, Lisa and Joey; his grandchildren, Nina, Lily, Andy Rae, Lacey and Brian; his mother, Sharon; his sister and brother-in-law, Leslie and Rick Smith; his niece and god-daughter, Emily Sloan, her husband, Jordan and their daughter, Lumen; his nephews, Brandun and Kyle Smith and their families. Craig is also survived by aunts, uncles, nine cousins and their families, with whom he so enjoyed spending time.
Craig's life will be celebrated at a later date, near Halloween which was a holiday he celebrated with great anticipation and fervor. His generosity, kindness, humor and joie de vivre will be greatly missed.
