Daniel Beushausen, age 91 of Elwood, passed away on Thursday, July 14, 2022, at Silver Cross Hospital with family at his side. Survived by his four sons David (Sue) Beushausen, Dean (Rose) Beushausen, Derwin Beushausen and William (Bobbie) Beushausen, his grandchildren Aaron (Tracey) McGrory, Kristin (Jamie) Jonas, Christina Beushausen, Daniel Beushausen, Michelle (Andy) Alegria, Mark (Alicia) Beushausen, Rebeccah Beushausen, Jonathon Beushausen, Anna Beushausen, Jaden Beushausen and Avery Beushausen, his great grandchildren Lanie, Griffin, Nathan, Nolan, Aiden, Ian, Daniel, Nikolas, Andy Jr., EmmaMaria, Vince, Peyton, Alistiar and numerous other great grandchildren, his sister Margaret Moore, numerous nieces and nephews and his faithful canine companion Biscuit. Preceded in death by his parents Hugh and Margaret Beushausen, his first wife Elda Mae (nee Beauchamp), his second wife Billie (nee Venerable) and his third wife Patricia (nee Budrik) his son Daniel, his sisters Dolores and Anna Mae, his twin brother Donald and his two other brothers Gilbert and Phillip. Daniel worked for Indiana Harbor Belt for 45 years until his retirement. After retirement Daniel became a school bus driver. Daniel had many hobbies, among them were golfing, fishing, and tinkering in the garage, he was always doing something. He will be remembered for his strong faith in Christ, his birthday celebrations held on the Fourth of July, his great sense of humor and his stunning blue eyes, but what brought Daniel the most joy was spending time with his family, his "The more the merrier" outlook created the best atmosphere. Visitation for Daniel will take place on Wednesday, July 20, 2022 from 4-7:00 P.M. Funeral service will be the same evening at 7:00 P.M. with Pastor Carl Wagner officiating.
