Daniel L. Rohland, age 64, passed away on September 11, 2015 surrounded by his family at Presence St. Mary's Hospital, Kankakee. Daniel was born July 7, 1951 in Joliet. He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl F. and Esther L. Rohland of Manhattan. Surviving are his children Ethan (Courtney) Rohland, and Katie (Andrew) Gonia; granddaughter Brianna Rohland; brothers and sisters Elizabeth (Robert), Carla (Paul) Patchett, Brenda (Jule) Kennis, Richard (Phyllis) Rohland, Carl Rohland, Lee An (Thomas) Shaw, Ronald (Kathy) Rohland. Daniel was a car enthusiast winning numerous trophies for his vehicle restoration. Friends and family may gather at a graveside service for Daniel at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, September 15, 2015 at Manhattan Center Cemetery located on the corner of Cedar Road and Manhattan Monee Road in Manhattan.
