David J. Burns, age 61, of Mokena, passed away on Tuesday, January 11, 2022. He is survived by his children, Tammy (Steve) Platek, Tracy (Dave) Rymarcsuk, Tana Kestel, grandchildren, Scott, Ashley and Emma Platek, Hailey and Madison Rymarcsuk, brothers Bob and Mike (Sue), sister, Lisa Burns and his faithful canine companion Sadie. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive. Dave is preceded in death by his first wife, Debra, parents, Richard and Joyce Burns and brothers, Tim and Rick Burns. Dave loved spending time outdoors where he enjoyed hiking, camping, canoeing and snow skiing. He also enjoyed baking for his grandchildren, woodworking and spending time with his dog Sadie.
