David "Dave" C. Hurley, age 66, of Manhattan, IL passed away suddenly on Wednesday, March 10th 2021. He is survived by his sons David (Mary) Hurley, Tony (Katie) Hurley; Grandchildren Keagan, Andrew & Ryan; Siblings Tim Hurley and Tom Hurley; numerous nieces and nephews; and special friends Annie and Bob. He is preceded in death by his parents, Michael and Marie Hurley; and his brother Michael J. Hurley. Dave was a graduate of Brother Rice in 1972 and went on to join the Pipefitters Local 597. During retirement he enjoyed metal working, welding and woodworking. He could fix anything and everything. He was a staple at Fritz's and will be dearly missed by his friends there. Dave loved his family and will be missed deeply by all. Visitation for Dave will be on Wednesday, March 17th, 2021 from 4:00-7:30 PM at Forsythe Gould Funeral Home, Manhattan.
