Debra A.(nee Smith) Prokop, age 59, of Peotone, passed away peacefully at home on May 18, 2015. She is survived by her parents, Robert and Dolores Smith, her loving husband and high school sweet heart of 34 years, Bruce Prokop, her daughter, Jennifer Prokop, her son, Louis (Bina Wilbourn) Prokop, four sisters, Marilee Smith, Cindi (Tim) Mazzoni, Pam (Sean) Holmes, and Kim (Kevin) Watson, five brothers, Bob (Heather) Smith, Glenn (Lori) Smith, Doug (Kathy) Smith, Mike (Diane) Smith, and Mark Smith, many nieces and nephews and her faithful canine companion, Ella. Debra was a home maker and book keeper for their family business for many years. Visitation for Debra will be Thursday, May 21, 2015 from 3-9:00p.m. at Forsythe Funeral Home. Funeral service will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, May 22, 2015 also at the funeral home with her brother Robert Smith officiating. Interment Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood.
