Dennis Michael Hurley, of Manhattan, age 58, passed October 10, 2015 at St. Mary Presence Hospital in Kankakee. He is survived by his loving wife Tammy nee Ryan and his adored daughter Leslie Hurley, both of Manhattan, his mother Irma Paul of Texas, his siblings; Jackie (Robert) Lind, Steven (Janelle) Hurley, Tracy (Caryl) Hurley, Ronald (Peggy) Hurley and Jason (Sandy) Paul, his in-laws; Gerald Ryan, Shirley Ryan and Jerry, Jeremy, Matt & Travis Ryan. Many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins as well as many dear friends also survive. He was preceded in death by his father Arthur Hurley. Dennis graduated from Lincoln Way Central High School, Class of 1975. He was a proud US Army Veteran. He was employed by Walsh Construction Co. and a member of the Local 150 Operating Engineers. Dennis was a fun-loving guy who loved his family, enjoyed fishing, scuba diving and motor cycling. He also loved to travel, especially to Alaska and Florida. A committal service with military honors will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, October 16, 2015 at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery Forsythe Gould Funeral Home
