Age 69, of Custer Park, IL passed away Thursday, September 14, 2017 at Riverside Medical Center in Kankakee, IL. Born June 22, 1948 in Reading, PA to the late Earl and Ethel (nee Barlett) Fromm. Diane spent her earlier years in the Elwood-Manhattan area, more recently in Custer Park. She loved to camp, play bingo, and enjoyed watching her grand-daughters play soccer/softball. Surviving are one daughter, Kristine (Aaron) Mazon of Custer Park; three grand-daughters, Nicole, Haley and Emily; one brother, Earl L. (Joyce) Fromm of Channahon; one niece, Suzette (Max) Reed; one nephew, EJ (Sue) Fromm; and close friends, Linda and Ken Poole and Family. Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, William Nicholson; in laws, Harlow and Lois Nicholson; nephew, DJ Fromm; brother, Denis Fromm; and sister, Carol Ann Fromm. Funeral service will be at the Forsythe Gould Funeral Home; 507 S. State St. (Rt. 52), Manhattan, Tuesday, September 19, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. with Pastor Carrie Kapral officiating. Visitation Monday, September 18 from 3-7p.m. Interment Brown Cemetery, Elwood, IL. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in her name to the American Diabetes Association would be appreciated.
