Donald J. Esposito, age 86, passed away on Tuesday, October 26, 2021 at Advocate Christ Medical Center, Oak Lawn. He is survived by his children Mary Elizabeth Esposito, Christine Esposito, Matthew Esposito, Catherine (Christopher) Vitton, , John (Kathy) Esposito, Karen (Ken) Levi and Mark (Tracy) Esposito, grandchildren Amanda Pirtle, Lauren Pirtle, Ronnie Hauhe, Nicholas Pecoraro, Patrick Potter, Genevieve Esposito, Hannah Vitton, Dominic Vitton, Cameron Vitton, Sgt. Joshua Esposito, Jordan Esposito, Kaitlyn (Steven) Bartczak, Kassidy Ringo, Austin Orvis, Shae Orvis, Jackson Esposito and Jonah Kreinberg, great granddaughters Scarlett Kreinberg, Chelsea Bartczak and Paisley Bartczak, siblings Eugene (Helen) Esposito, Carol (John) Stang and Robert (Linda) Esposito and numerous nieces and nephews. Don is preceded in death by his parents Guy and Mary Esposito, wife Joyce Marie Esposito (nee Hayes) and son Donald Anthony Esposito (d.1965). Don loved the Chicago Bears, Chicago White Sox, cool whip, cheesecake, food, and beer. He had a great sense of humor and was a wonderful dancer. Don proudly served in the United States Army and was stationed in Germany during his time in the service. He was a family man and will be dearly missed by all. Visitation for Donald will take place on Tuesday, November 2, 2021 from 10:00 A.M. to 12:30 P.M. at Forsythe Gould Funeral Home, Manhattan. Funeral service will be the same day at 12:30 P.M. also at the funeral home. Committal service with full military honors will be at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood.
