Doris V. Krohn (Nee Hanson), age 90, of Knoxville, TN formerly of New Lenox, passed away peacefully on December 23, 2023, surrounded by her loving family. Survived by her children Terry (Marvin) Brown, Steve Krohn, and Danny (Sheri) Krohn, her grandchildren Jamie (Martin) Hughes, Sara (Joseph) LePore, Ashley (Andrew Seltzer) Krohn, Timothy (Haley McHale) Krohn, Heather (Brendan) Glascott and Connor Krohn, her great grandchildren Joey, Michael, Nicholas, Gage, Barrett, and Brantley. Preceded in death by her parents Roy A. and Amy Hanson, her beloved husband Glen E. Krohn, her sisters Joan Fitzgerald and Janet Pearson, her brothers James Hanson and John Michael Hanson.

Doris was a graduate of Hirsch High School in Chicago. She worked and retired from Randall Matuszewski Dental in New Lenox.

Doris had a passion for genealogy research and was a member of the New Lenox Historical Society. She also enjoyed playing cards, games and gardening and she loved to entertain.

A committal service for Doris is scheduled for 12:30 P.M. on Friday, January 5, 2024 at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood, IL where Doris will be reunited with her husband Glen.
