Dorothy A. Lynch (nee O'Brien), age 94, of Matteson, passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 21, 2026 with her loving family at her side. Survived by her son Edward (Dawn) Lynch, her grandchildren Thomas (Brittney) Lynch, Ian (Samantha) Lynch, Devlin Lynch, Shae Lynch, great-grandchildren Delaney Lynch and Emilia Lynch and nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her father Daniel O'Brien, her mother Hanah Marie Felton and her stepfather Edward Felton who was instrumental in her upbringing; her husband Thomas T. Lynch, her sister Roberta (Ron) Johnson and her brother Jim (Jackie) Felton. Dottie was a graduate of Calumet High School. She was employed by Cook County Hospital. Dottie was an active member of St. Anthony Catholic Church in Frankfort where she attended the Council of Catholic Women. She also enjoyed bingo and volunteer work. Dottie will be laid to rest next to her husband Thomas on Tuesday, May 26, 2026 at 1:00pm at Holy Sepulchre Catholic Cemetery in Alsip. Arrangements entrusted to Forsythe Gould Funeral Home, 507 S.
