Edward E. Brandau Sr., age 68, of Frankfort passed away peacefully on Monday, January 25, 2021 at his home with family at his side. Survived by his wife of 46 years Margie (nee Hickstein) Brandau, children Edward (Angie) Brandau Jr., Melissa (Fred) Eul, Tiffany (Tom) Clutter and Joshua Brandau, grandchildren Dakota Eul, Paige Vause, Addison Brandau, Asher Brandau and Brian Milashoski, siblings David Brandau, Doris (Bob) Clark and Fred (Lisa) Brandau, mother-in-law Margaret Hickstein, brothers-in-law Robert Hickstein Jr. and Harry Hickstein, sisters-in-law Cheryl (Mike) Suchowski and Barbara (Frank) Bellanova and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his daughter Tracy Brandau and his parents Howard and Lena Brandau. Edward worked as a union carpenter for 35 years. He has many pastimes including fishing, tinkering in his mancave, restoring old things to new, gardening, anything outdoors and he especially loved spending time with his family. Edward also had a talent for listening and lending good advice. Edward was a loving husband, father, grandfather, uncle and friend who never knew a stranger and he will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
