Elsie L. Phillips (nee Riser) October 4, 1934 - April 29, 2020 Elsie L. Phillips, 85, late of Joliet. Born in Jerusalem, Ohio. She lived in Romeoville, IL most of her life. Survived by her loving family, 2 daughters, Carolyn (David) McGuire, Christy (Jeff) Martin, one son, Donald, 9 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by 2 brothers Everett (Joan) Riser, Larry (Georgi) Riser, and one sister Rebecca (Gary) Hubbard. Numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews also survive. Elsie worked at Walmart for many years until she retired. She is preceded in death by her husband, Harold, her parents, Everett and Wilma (nee Berry) Riser, 2 grandsons, Ryan McGuire, and Joseph Martin. A memorial service for Elsie will be held at a later date.
