Enedelia G. Iturralde "Abuelita", age 91, of Monee, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family. She is survived by her children Virginia (Mark) Zumhagen, Velma (late-David) Krizka, Viviana (Jose) Gonzalez, Vanessa Iturralde,

Veronica (Felipe) Vazquez, Vincent (Kristina) Iturralde, Victor (Christina) Iturralde, Vaughn (Janie) Iturralde, Vernon (Lyda) Iturralde, and Valeria Iturralde, her grandchildren Marc (Sarah) Zumhagen, Vernon (Andrea) Zumhagen, Joshua (Jenna)

Zumhagen, Nathaniel (Maria) Zumhagen, Benjamin (JoAnna) Zumhagen, Andrew (Rachel) Zumhagen, Rachel (Aaron) Mikottis, Steven Zumhagen, James Zumhagen, Catherine Krizka, David Krizka Jr., Angelica (Tim) Weaver, Elizabeth Krizka, Viviana (Andrew) Anselmo, Genevieve (Robert) Capaldi, Daniel (Kim) Gonzalez, Paul (Meagan) Gonzalez, David Vazquez, Juliana Iturralde, Nicolas Iturralde, Sophia Iturralde, Rebecca Iturralde, Victor Isaiah Iturralde, Gabriela Iturralde, Alicia Iturralde, Samuel VIcente Iturralde, Andrew Vaughn Iturralde, Vincent Vaughn Iturralde, Isabella Iturralde, Caroline Iturralde, Austin Iturralde, Evelyn Iturralde, Matthew Magden, Arie Magden, Ana Magden, Ava Magden, and Amabella Magden, and many cherished great grandchildren, her siblings Celia Garcia and Ricardo Gallaga, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents Ricardo and Virginia Gallaga, her husband Vicente Iturralde, and her siblings Adan Gallaga, Anita Ramirez, Eva Garcia, Raul Gallaga and Constancia Serna and one grandson, Kenneth Vazquez. Enedelia was a graduate of Harlingen High School. She lived in Texas for 40 years before moving to Illinois to be close to her family through her latter years. She was an active member of Killeen Bible Church in Texas for many years and became a member of Jackson Creek Fellowship Church in Monee after moving to Illinois. Enedelia was a known prayer warrior and modelled spiritual strength. Enedelia, or Abuelita, as she was called, loved to cook for her family and her neighbors, and her tortillas de harina were famous. Abuelita loved her big family, and she prided herself in having a special relationship with each and every one of her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She will be missed by all who know and love her. Visitation for Enedelia will take place on Sunday, July 6, 2025 from 3pm-7pm at Jackson Creek Fellowship Church, 25800 South Center Road, Monee, IL 60449 with her funeral service beginning at 7:00pm. Interment will take place Monday, July 7, at 10:00am at Forest Home Cemetery, Forest Park, IL. Arrangements entrusted to Forsythe Gould Funeral Home, 507 S.
