Eugene W. "Bud" Barta Jr, age 69, of New Lenox, passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 18, 2023 at Silver Cross Hospital, New Lenox. Survived by his daughter Megan, his niece Kelly Barta, many cousins and friends, and was Papa Bud to Avery.

Preceded in death by his parents Eugene W. Sr and Avis Barta and his brother Dennis Barta.

Bud enjoyed drag racing and all auto racing, bowling (almost professional) and was an avid animal lover.

Per Bud's wishes, cremation has taken place.
