Everett T. Wilhoite Jr. "Tom", age 76, of Hickory Hills passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 12, 2023, with his loving family at his side. Survived by his loving wife of 48 years Olga (nee Tillisch) Wilhoite, his daughter Jaime (Brian) Finkelstein his sisters-in-law Dagmar (Larry) Sandbach and Barb Kumm, his brother-in-law Karl (Sharon) Tillisch and nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents Harold and Mary (nee Younce) Johnson and his uncle Joe Younce. Tom was a graduate of Hyde Park High School. He proudly served his country with the United States Marine Corp during Vietnam. Tom then married his lifelong friend and high school sweetheart Olga. They settled in Hickory Hills, started their family, and never moved. Some of Tom's pastimes included watching the Chicago White Sox, reading Western Novels and bowling. Tom was a loving and supportive husband and father, and he will be truly missed. Visitation for Tom will take place on Monday, August 21, 2023, from 10:00 AM- 11:30 AM at Forsythe Gould Funeral Home.
