Francis "Frank" E. Satterthwait, age 89, of Joliet, passed away peacefully on March 10, 2014. He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Joan (nee Levingston), his son, Dan of Joliet, his daughter-in-law, Amy of Oak Forrest, two sisters, Norma Jester and Betty Riley, and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his son, Mark, and two sisters, Catherine Wyss and Billy Hall. Funeral service for Frank will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, March 15, 2014 at Forsythe Funeral Home with Bill White officiating. Family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00 a.m. A committal service with military honors will on Tuesday, March 18, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood.
