Gerald "Jerry" E Carpenter age 76 of Putnam, IL pass away on Thursday 1/11/2018 at Perry Memorial Hospital in Princeton, IL. Preceded in death by wife Shirley Carpenter, parents Clarence and Loretta and brother Dale. Survived by son Roy and sister Martha Haley. Jerry was a longtime resident of Manhattan, IL. Jerry enjoyed gardening and the outdoors. He will be missed by his many friends and family. Services to be held at Faith Bible Church 1600 Schuster ave Joliet, IL on Tuesday Jan 16th starting at 11am. In lieu of flowers donation can be made to The Salvation Army.
