Age 91, of New Lenox, formerly of Wilmington passed away peacefully Monday, March 26, 2018 in Aurora, IL with her family by her side. Born May 22, 1926 to the late Terrance McGovern and Mary Dixon. Irene was a member of the St. Jude Catholic Church in New Lenox and also attended St. Bernard Catholic Church in Joliet, IL. She loved spending time with her family and she also enjoyed being "grandma" to all. She had many hobbies such as traveling, flowers, gardening, and most of all loved nature Surviving are three sons, Terrence Fellers of Joliet, IL, Steven (Sue) Fellers of Woodridge, IL, and Michael Fellers; three daughters, Kathleen (Keith) Keogh of New Lenox, Janet Fellers of FL, and Joyce Fellers of Joliet; eleven grandchildren, Nichole (Tom) Popovich, Patrick Fellers, Ian Fellers, Jessica Samuilis, Edward Samuilis, Michael Samuilis, Mikayla Keogh, Briana Keogh, Tammy Dotson, Angel Dotson, Christopher Dotson; three great-grandchildren, Tommy Popovich, Tyler and Drew Samuilis; one sister, Mary Ebben, of AZ; and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death were her parents; her beloved husband, Roscoe W. Fellers (7-28-12); one son, William Fellers; one daughter Rita Samuilis; one brother, James McGovern; and one sister, Rita Corpron. Funeral service for Irene Fellers will be at the Forsythe Gould Funeral Home: 507 S. State St. (Rt. 52) Manhattan, Friday, March 30, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. Visitation will be Thursday, March 29 from 4-8 p.m. Interment Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood IL.
