Jack G. Robbins, age 65, of Wilmington, passed away on Tuesday, June 25, 2024.

Survived by his wife of 40 years, Linda; children, Joe (Hillary Addy) Robbins, and Lauren Robbins; siblings, Rosalie Thatcher and Margaret (Arnie) Johnson; stepmother, Doris Robbins; sister's in law, Lorreta Robbins, Janet Robbins, Diane (Shaun) Gorman, Karen (Patrick) Berry, and Anita (Sean) Becker; father and mother in law, Dale and Carleen Schmidt. Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends also survive.

Born March 9, 1959, in Joliet IL. Jack was the son of Gerald E and Jane (Doyle) Robbins. He was raised in Wilton Township, graduated from Peotone High School, class of 1977, and Illinois Central College, class of 1979. Jack married Linda Schmidt on September 10, 1983, in Peotone, IL. They made their home on the farm Jack grew up on in Florence Township.

Jack farmed with his father and brother Jerry as well as working at Agro and Ritchie Grain for 38 years. Jack was a true "Jack of all Trades" and an avid Chicago White Sox and Bears fan. He was a true friend to many and all that met him.

Funeral services for Jack will be held at Forsythe Gould Funeral Home on Monday, July 1, 2024 at 10:00am. Visitation will be on Sunday, June 30, 2024 from 2:00 pm – 6:00 pm. Per Jack's wishes, cremation will take place after services. In lieu of flowers, donations to Kuzma's Care Cottage, 635 S. Main Street, Wilmington, IL 60481 would be appreciated.
