Jackie D. Young (nee Austin), age 61, of Matteson, passed away unexpectedly after a lingering illness on Saturday, May 19, 2018 at her home. She is survived by her loving husband Christopher Young, her mother Kay Austin, her son, William (Stacey) Thomas, her daughter Nicole (Clint) Dye, her stepdaughter Crystal (Kevin) Kelly, five grandchildren Alyssa and Abigail Thomas, Paige Kateeb, and Zoey and Ava Kelly, her brother Donald Austin, her mother-in-law Mary Lou Young and her niece Ashley Austin. She was preceded in death by her father Hobert Austin and her father-in-law Jack Young. Jackie worked for many years at Sony Distribution in Bolingbrook. She had many hobbies, among her favorites were going to the casino, relaxing in her daughter's pool, listening to music, playing on the computer and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. A visitation for Jackie will take place on Wednesday, May 23, 2018 from 4-7:00 P.M. followed by her funeral service at 7:00 P.M. at Forsythe Gould Funeral Home, Manhattan, IL. Cremation to follow.
