James Charles Rose, age 92, passed away on the morning of Monday, January 18, 2021 at his daughters' home in Jackson Township, IL. Survived by his loving children Jane (Bob) Stacey, Sarah Boughton, Patricia "kay" Rose, Connie (Bob) Schuler, James C. (Cindy) Rose Jr., Jeffrey "Scott" (Michelle) Rose, Eula B. Rose, and Christopher (Louise) Rose, 27 grandchildren and 44 great grandchildren. Preceded in death by his parents, his wife Eula Rose (2018), his daughter Nancy L. Snyder, his grandson Geoffrey and a grandson in infancy James. James was born in Middlesboro KY. He was a long-time member of East Lafolette Baptist Church in Lafolette TN. James was a proud veteran serving our country on the U.S.S IOWA during WWII and he was a truck driver in the Teamsters Union for the Jones Motor Company. James and his wife Eula lived in Mokena for over 30 years and retired to Lafolette TN where he was finally was able to buy a pontoon boat and spend many hours on the water fishing. James loved his big family and he will be deeply missed. James will be cremated per his wishes and buried next to his wife Eula at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery Elwood, IL.
