James Sutterlin, age 47, of Manhattan, passed away on January 27, 2021. He is survived by his father William, sisters Catherine (Jeffrey) Braxton and Sandra (Robert) Shepard, nieces Elizabeth (Steve) Hatsman and Casey Braxton, nephews Timothy (Cheyenne) Shepard and Alexander Braxton and one great niece Arlene Shepard. James is preceded in death by his mother Arlene (nee Gilli) Sutterlin. James grew up in Orland Park and graduated from Carl Sandburg High School in 1991. He was a member of the Sprinkler Fitters Union Local #281 for twenty-two years. James went on an African Safari, enjoyed gardening, photography, watching the Chicago White Sox and Bears games, wrenching on cars and spending time with his family and his faithful companion Jazz. Visitation for James will be held on Thursday February 4, 2021 from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. at Forsythe Gould Funeral Home, Manhattan, IL. Funeral services will be held the same day at 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
