We mournfully announce the passing of Jean Quitman, 71, of Channahon, IL. Jean passed away on August 13, 2022, after a hard fought battle with cancer. Born July 9, 1951, in Evanston, IL, Jean is the daughter of the late Richard Quitman and the late Marian Quintus. Jean is survived by her brothers David and Paul (Vicki), as well as her nieces Jill (Mike) and Nicole, and her nephew, Al (Melissa). She is also survived by her 5 great-nieces, Natalie, Audrey, Sophia, Laurelle, and Violet. A celebration of Jean's life will take place on Sunday, August 21, 2022, at 2:30 pm at Wayside Chapel in Palos Park. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the American Cancer Society in Jean's honor.
