Joseph "Joe" Michael Holba, age 34, of Chicago, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, January 27, 2018 at his home. He is survived by his parents, Steven and Teri Spearson of Manhattan, his sons JoeMarre, JoJo, and Joshua, his brother Kenny Hatfield of Palatine, his sister Emily Hatfield of Manhattan, three aunts; Mary Ann (Mike) Leimbach of St. John, IN, Patti (Jimmy-deceased) Pierce of Chicago and Sue (Mike-deceased) Holba of Mokena, his paternal grandparents George and Marylynn (deceased) Spearson, cousins and friends. Preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Joseph and Marie Holba. Joe grew up in Calumet City. He graduated from Thornton Fractional High School and most recently worked for Amazon. He enjoyed all sports especially the Chicago Bulls and the Chicago Bears. Joe was a loving son, father, nephew and grandson. He was a generous soul who had a heart he couldn't contain. His absence will be forever felt by those that knew and loved him. Visitation for Joseph will be Wednesday, January 31, 2018 from 9-11:00 A.M. at Forsythe Gould Funeral Home. Prayers will begin at 11:00 A.M. at the funeral home before leaving in procession to St. Joseph Catholic Church, 235 W. North St. Manhattan, IL for 11:30 A.M. Mass of Christian Burial.
