Judith Ann Dorman, age 68, passed peacefully at her home in Manhattan twp. with her family around her on Saturday, January 2, 2021. She is survived by her loving husband of 47 years Frank Dorman, Her dear mother Dolores Plucinski, sister Donna (Bob) Lasky, brothers Ed (Maureen) Plucinski and Mark (Barbara) Plucinski, nieces; Sharon (Nick) Powers, Kaitlin Plucinski, Stephanie (Jessie) Calnan and Elizabeth Plucinski, nephews, Bryan (Krista) Plucinski and Michael Kozlowski, great nieces; Mae, Lulu and Chloe, great nephew Jack.
Preceded in death by her father Aloysius Plucinski.
Judy grew up in Chicago and Palos Hills. She attended St. Rita, St Michaels, Mt. Assisi and Stagg H.S. She retired from Moraine Valley Community College after 43 years of service as a planner and coordinator. Judy and Frank moved to Manhattan in 1994. She loved dogs and she was a long-time breeder and owner of champion Beardie Collies. Judy was a thoughtful and gentle woman with a wonderful eye for art and design. She was loved by all who knew her.
Visitation for Judith will be Thursday, January 7, 2021 from 9:00 A.M. until 11:30 A.M. at Forsythe Gould Funeral Home. Funeral service will be the same day beginning with prayers at 11:30 A.M. at the funeral home then in procession to St. Joseph Catholic Church, 235 West North St., Manhattan for 12:00 P.M.
