Julie M. Dominik-Mood, age 44, of Elwood, passed away at her home on Saturday, February 22, 2014. She is survived by her four children, Stephanie Tribo, Jonathan Tribo, Haley Tribo, and Samantha Mood all of Manhattan, her parents, Benjamin and Nancy Dominik of Manhattan, two sisters, Jennifer (Brandon) Adair and Jody Roark both of Manhattan, her fond friend, Bruce Mood, three nieces, Jamie, Ainsley, and Jillian, two nephews, Kevin and Dylan, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, James and Irene Beemster, her paternal grandparents, Stanley and Mary Dominik and her former husband, John Tribo. Julie was a selfless caring person whose generosity and love could not be measured. She recognized the important things in life like no other, she never met a stranger and always helped others before herself. While life was not always good to Julie, she was always good to life. Funeral service for Julie will be 9:30 a.m., Wednesday, February 26, 2014 in procession from Forsythe Funeral Home to St. Joseph Catholic Church, 235 West North Street, Manhattan for 10:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial.
