Kathleen J. "Katie" Besowshek (Krejczyk), age 78, of Manhattan, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 6, 2023 at home with her loving family at her side. Survived by her husband of 50 years Al Besowshek, her son Richard Kulpa, her siblings John Krejczyk, Val (Natalie) Krejczyk and Larry (Mary Ann) Krejczyk, and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Preceded in death by her parents Michael and Mary Krejczyk, her brother Michael "Mickey" Krejczyk and her sisters-in-law Katherine Krejczyk and Josephine Krejczyk. Katie enjoyed crafting, hosting garage sales and collecting Franklin Mint Fairy Tale Plates. Katie will also be remembered for her love of playing slot machines, she played all of them around town. Katie was a loving wife, mother, sister, aunt and friend and she will be missed by those that knew and loved her. A committal service for Katie will take place on Wednesday, April 12, 2023 at 12:30 P.M. at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood, IL. All are welcome to attend.
