Laura M. Erickson, age 90, of Ingalls Park, passed away on Wednesday, July 29, 2015 at The Parc at Joliet. She is survived by her nephew-in-law, Donald Dubbert; her sister-in-law, Lillian Dralle; her great nephews and nieces; Duane and Dale Dubbert, Dawn Stawick, and Anna and Benjamin Dralle; numerous great great nieces and nephews; her special friend, Lorenzo Filetti; and many cousins, friends, and neighbors. Preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Lenora (nee Bitner) Dralle; her husband, Leslie Erickson (1969); her brother, Clyde Dralle; her sister, Pearl Ethel Dralle; one niece, Rebecca (nee Dralle) Dubbert and one nephew, Donald Dralle. Laura was employed by the Credit Bureau of Will County and retired from Champion Federal. She was also a member of the Ingalls Park United Methodist Church for many years. Laura enjoyed working with flowers and gardening, she was a loving, caring, thoughtful, and independent person. Funeral service for Laura will be 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, August 4, 2015 at Ingalls Park United Methodist Church, 105 Davison St., Joliet, IL 60433 with Pastor Leona Tichener officiating. She will lie-in-state from 9:00 a.m. until the time of her service. Visitation will be Monday, August 3, 2015 from 5-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment, Green Garden Green View Cemetery, Green Garden Twp. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Laura's name to Ingalls Park United Methodist Church would be most appreciated.
