Lawrence "Larry" Nelson, 82, passed away on December 25, 2023. Beloved husband, father, grandfather and brother. He is survived by his wife, Paulette, and his children, Michelle and Denise. He was previously employed as a trainmaster with the Rock Island and EJ & E Railways. He is an army veteran. Private funeral services will be held. He will be laid to rest at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood, Illinois. Larry had only kind words for everyone and loved to laugh. He will be greatly missed.
