Linda S. Bradley (nee Surdey), age 70, of Manhattan, passed away peacefully in her home with her loving family at her side. Survived by her husband of 29 years, Roger Bradley, her children Carrie (Paul) Chellios, Tommy Gilmore, Heather Palmer, Andy Chamberlin and Anna Bradley, her grandchildren Brandton, Calista, Rebecca, Griffin, Serena, Brooklyn and Kenny, her siblings Kathy (Lynn) Wehrmann and John (Sherree) Surdey, her sisters-in-law Nancy Nietzner and Nelda Bradley and her brother-in-law Wayne (Theresa) Bradley and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her parents Cecil and Phyllis (nee Mowrer) Surdey. Linda was a graduate of Lincoln-Way Central High School. She worked for the Department of Motor Vehicles in Joliet and retired after 30 years. In her early years, Linda enjoyed attending stock car racing and drag strip races at Route 66 and attending occasional concerts. She also enjoyed watching the Ion channel, Law & Order, NCIS and Blue Bloods were some of her favorite shows. Linda preferred a simple life and took most joy in staying home and spending time with her family. Private family services will be held. Arrangements entrusted to Forsythe Gould Funeral Home, 507 S.
